My Latest (and Greatest?)

Unfortunately I don't have the time to scrap that I wish I had, but here's what I've been able to produce most recently:
Papers and elements created by Helly . Frame by Kirsty.
Papers and elements by Andrea.

Snowflakes and string by Nicole Young. Unfortunately, I don't recall where the papers or frames were found.

Papers by Akizo. Felt frame by Scrappy Pony. Tag, Ribbon and Button by Katherine. Cardboard frame by unknown.

That's all I have for you now. Not too exciting, I well know, but it's a start, right?

Playing with Masks

I actually used a basic tutorial from Heather's Blog and created a faded background via a mask I developed with various brushes. So fun! This is the page I ended up creating:

(again I own NONE of the elements, or even the purple paper - the only one I know to give credit to is Amber Gray for the beautiful Twilight Alpha.)

I'm figuring it out . . . maybe

I've only just recently entered the world of digital scrapbooking thanks to an amazing friend who has done a wonderful job with my initiation! I finally wrangled a copy of Photoshop Elements (version 5, but it's better than nothing) but I've been avoiding it because I have no idea how anything works. I will find/work with tutorials later but for now I'm just wading through the mass of information and techniques available.
I created my first paper today! It was a background for our Halloween pics. Hubby and I were Mario and Princess Peach while our tiny one was a green 1up mushroom. I wanted a background that fit more of our theme than the Halloween theme - but Mario papers just haven't been in the freebies I've been picking up lately - go figure! ;)

Anyway - take a look! It's not fabulous - but it's something! Someday I may figure out how to give things away but for now you can just look - sorry!

Here's a pic of my layout I did with the page. A few of the elements are from other sources - but since I'm new to this I don't remember where I got them - if you see an element that belongs to you or someone you know, let me know and I'll give credit where credit is due!
